'Missing and endangered:' Do you know where these kids are?
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police received a complaint that 38-year-old Jorge Zamora Mora had taken his two children from their mother and then left for Mexico and took the children with him.
The mother told police she did not give Mora permission to take the children outside of the country. She also said she didn't found out he had taken them until two days after he left Yakima.
Detectives said Mora and the two missing children match a description of a family who used a bus service to get to an unknown location in Mexico. They also said Mora may have used fake names for the children when he bought the tickets.
Mora violated a court order that restricts his visitation, police said.
A warrant has been issued for Mora for Custodial Interference 1st degree. The children have been entered in to National Crime Information Center as missing and endangered.
Anyone having information regarding the location of the suspect and these two children are encouraged to contact the Yakima Police department, or if they are outside of Yakima, their local law enforcement agency.
